The place is a bit "funky" in appearance, but it was very clean. When we first got there we realized this was a "locals" place! We started with the rice balls and cheesy garlic bread. Yum- their marinara sauce is so good! Our kids had Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo & Chicken Parmigiana- generous helpings and both needed to go boxes for leftovers. We split a pizza too- which was good. The service was a bit slow to start, but they only had one waiter & several patrons, that said, once the food orders went in, the food came out promptly. David the waiter was moving! The bill was surprisingly affordable for as much food as we got- securing this place as one we will definitely return to next time we are in Pacifica. Luigi's is a bit off the beaten path, but a great find for family-style Italian pasta & pizza!!
Can't believe I haven't come here sooner! Comforting Italian food in a classic-style Italian diner with lovely staff awaits you as your drive up and down 101. We were starving and stopped in here in our way back up from tide pooling, in need of a reprieve from the cold outdoors. Boy did this hit the spot! The grandma-style red sauce was thick, rich and flavorful, perfect on both the eggplant parm and lasagna, which were generously layered with cheese. Ended the meal with spumoni--light & airy but delicious with the tri-flavored strawberry, chocolate and pistachio ice cream with nut bits. Prices were reasonable, and the food felt homemade in the best way. A perfect pit stop for a great piping-hot, heavy, comforting, grandma-style Italian meal

We were in the area from out of town and had a large group for dinner. This place was very accommodating. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious! All 20+ people in our group loved their food. Not a single complaint.

This is primarily for the pepperoni pizza. The sauce is seasoned well, the cheese is always melty and the pepperoni is crispy and a little spicy. Love it. We have gotten other things, like pasta and sandwiches, which have always been good as well. Maybe the meatball sandwich above the chicken parm sandwich. But the pizza is the real star, and it's affordable. A large two toppings pizza was like $25.
Luigi's has been around Pacifica for a very long time and is a local favorite. If you are looking for italian beyond fast food (Dominos) Luigis is the place to go. I usually order take out, but they do have a dining room.
If you haven't been here , come hear. We make it a destination for an early evening of good food and conversation with the family. Too much time on your computer, come here and enjoy a glass of Chianti or a beer with pizza. Service is good . We sit inside and relax. Food is always served hot . They do get busy on game days so , prepare for a little wait if you come when there is a big game going on. To be honest waiting is kinda fun because you can talk to each other and find the connection that people have lost nowadays.
